Role overview
Provides field service for water-treatment systems through call-out visits and service contracts.
Also supports procurement and cost estimation when not visiting client sites.
Field service responsibilities
- Coordinate client visits and arrange tools, spares, consumables, and manpower.
- Check equipment and system functionality; diagnose faults and communicate repair estimates.
- Complete repairs and calibration, and ensure HSE and documentation compliance.
- Prepare inspection reports with recommendations and parts lists.
- Coordinate design changes with engineering and maintain client relationships.
- Obtain supplier quotations and help verify costing-sheet completeness and accuracy.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- At least 6–8 years of relevant post-qualification water-treatment operations, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, or field-service experience.
- Experience with offshore RO/WTP installation and commissioning; strong water-treatment equipment commissioning and troubleshooting knowledge.
- English comprehension and speaking ability; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused, self-driven, able to work and lead independently, and capable of planning and organizing.
- HSE awareness, creative problem-solving, and willingness to work long hours when site installation or repair requires it.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 7,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person and includes client-site visits, including on-platform and offshore work.
