Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant construction experience; the description also specifies a minimum of 10–15 years.
• Strong MEP experience covering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pumping systems, equipment installation, and coordination.
• Proven infrastructure experience with sewerage and drainage networks, water and utility networks, pumping stations, roads, and associated civil works.
• Treatment plant/STP experience is an advantage.
• Experience managing projects from mobilization through construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Knowledge of project planning, cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, and site coordination.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, material submittals, and technical submissions.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; good knowledge of HSE and QA/QC requirements.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication and reporting skills; UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred.

Main responsibilities

• Manage overall project delivery and ensure successful completion.
• Manage civil, infrastructure, and MEP activities and coordinate interfaces between disciplines.
• Monitor project schedule, cost, quality, and resources.
• Lead site teams, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and construction matters with the client and consultant.
• Monitor procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage testing, commissioning, authority approvals, and final project handover.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 25,000 per month.
