Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and reviewing landscape design plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare shop drawings, construction details, material take-offs, and BOQs for landscape projects.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate landscape works with overall project requirements.
- Visit sites to monitor construction progress and compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical input through design, planning, execution, and maintenance phases.
- Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies with site teams and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for internal and client use.
- Assist in selecting and specifying plants, paving, irrigation systems, lighting, and furniture.
- Support sustainability initiatives, green landscaping, and water-efficient systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical or engineering role in the landscape or construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other design software.
- Familiarity with irrigation and lighting design tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction, horticulture, soil science, drainage, and irrigation systems.
- Understanding of local building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in the office and on-site under varying conditions.
