Job Description

Role Summary:

The Technical Coordinator (Architecture) is responsible for managing and coordinating all architectural technical aspects of a project from design development through construction. The role ensures alignment between architectural intent, multidisciplinary coordination, authority requirements, and construction execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate architectural design and technical drawings across all project stages
• Ensure integration of architectural design with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines
• Review and manage architectural shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, authority regulations, and project specifications
• Coordinate with local authorities for submissions, approvals, and design clarifications
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and constructability issues
• Support the Project Manager in technical planning and progress monitoring
• Conduct internal quality reviews and ensure adherence to company QA/QC standards
• Provide technical guidance to architects and draftsmen

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 12+ years of professional experience with contracting and PMC
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and construction practices
• Proficient in AutoCAD and architectural detailing
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
