Role Summary
The Technical Coordinator (Architecture) is responsible for managing and coordinating all architectural technical aspects of a project from design development through construction.
The role ensures alignment between architectural intent, multidisciplinary coordination, authority requirements, and construction execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate architectural design and technical drawings across all project stages
- Ensure integration of architectural design with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines
- Review and manage architectural shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, authority regulations, and project specifications
- Coordinate with local authorities for submissions, approvals, and design clarifications
- Identify and resolve design conflicts and constructability issues
- Support the Project Manager in technical planning and progress monitoring
- Conduct internal quality reviews and ensure adherence to company QA/QC standards
- Provide technical guidance to architects and draftsmen
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- 12+ years of professional experience with contracting and PMC
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and construction practices
- Proficient in AutoCAD and architectural detailing
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
