Technical Architect (Sports and Venue Technology Platforms)
Role Overview
Own the end-to-end design of digital platforms powering sports and entertainment venues, including fan applications, ticketing and entry systems, data platforms, and the wider venue technology stack.
Shape digital and data foundations for stadiums, arenas, training facilities, and fan-facing platforms across major developments in the Kingdom.
Work with sports domain specialists, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure designs perform in operational venue settings.

Role overview
Own the end-to-end design of digital platforms powering sports and entertainment venues, including fan applications, ticketing and entry systems, data platforms, and the wider venue technology stack.
Shape digital and data foundations for stadiums, arenas, training facilities, and fan-facing platforms across major developments in the Kingdom.
Work with sports domain specialists, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure designs perform in operational venue settings.
Key responsibilities
- Define architectures for fan engagement platforms, ticketing, access control, data platforms, and venue system integrations.
- Develop technical plans for cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, APIs, and third-party integrations from business requirements and venue experience concepts.
- Design data movement between access control, IoT, and point of sale systems and apps, CRM, and analytics, using a consistent data model.
- Own technical content for proposals and tender responses and contribute to client workshops.
- Support engineering teams during build, addressing load, latency, security, and vendor constraints.
- Set technical standards, reference architectures, and repeatable patterns across venues and programmes.
- Partner with industry specialists and business leads to link architecture decisions to business outcomes.
