What You’ll Do

• Own the technical accounting agenda, including global accounting policies, memos, and guidance notes.
• Advise on IFRS accounting for M&A, restructurings, contracts, debt and equity issuances, and joint ventures.
• Work with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A, and senior leaders to resolve complex accounting matters.
• Lead IFRS implementation, system change, and reporting enhancement projects.
• Update stakeholders on accounting standards, GCC regulations, and industry practices.
• Represent the company in auditor discussions and contribute to comment letters or industry forums where relevant.

What We’re Looking For

• Bring 7–10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Have strong exposure to IFRS 9, 15, 16, 3, and 10.
• Have experience preparing technical accounting memos, policies, and position papers.
• Hold ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Big Four audit, accounting advisory, or transaction accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• GCC regional or multi-jurisdictional entity management experience is a plus.
• Work independently, research technical issues in depth, and explain complex matters to non-finance stakeholders.

Workplace

• The role is based in the Dubai office; office-based teams work onsite five days a week.
