Tech Lead, iOS

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own iOS architecture and technical direction while balancing feature delivery, maintainability, performance, and security.
• Build modular, testable components; guide complex wallet-flow implementation; and deliver application features and technical improvements.
• Integrate with backend services, blockchain networks, and related wallet services.
• Collaborate with Product, Android, Backend, Blockchain, and QA on product behavior, APIs, tests, and defects.
• Use AI-assisted development and testing tools responsibly; validate their output and protect sensitive information from prompts and inappropriate logs.
• Own CI/CD and build workflows, monitor releases, investigate production issues, and coordinate stability improvements.

Required experience

• Strong hands-on iOS development experience with Swift, including production applications.
• Practical Web3 product experience, such as a wallet or DeFi application, or a product integrating with blockchain networks; understanding of crypto and trading.
• Experience with iOS build and CI/CD workflows, production monitoring, and iOS technical and architecture decisions.
• Communicate technical trade-offs clearly and work effectively with Product, Android, and QA.
• Take ownership independently and use sound judgment to balance speed, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Preferred experience

• Building or maintaining a non-custodial wallet; transaction signing, wallet recovery, or transaction lifecycle flows.
• Modular, testable applications; asynchronous operations and network failures.
• Security-sensitive mobile functionality, mobile security reviews, or incident response.
• Hands-on experience with UIKit or SwiftUI; experience with both is not required.
