Software engineering responsibilities
- Write and review specifications for simple-complexity system components.
- Implement coding best practices, development processes, and code reviews with guidance from senior engineers.
- Complete simple bug fixes and apply test-driven development.
- Gather and analyse software requirements with stakeholders.
- Resolve basic technical issues and keep current with technology developments.
- Apply software development methodologies, data manipulation languages, and data modelling principles.
Technology exposure
- The programme provides exposure to AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- The role may involve Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, C#, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux, and .NET.
- The programme covers big data, AI, site reliability engineering, DevOps, and security engineering.
Candidate requirements
- Applicants must have completed or be completing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Applicants must have a graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
- Applicants need strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Applicants need proficiency in one or more listed development languages or technologies.
- Applicants need familiarity with software development methodologies and knowledge of data manipulation, data modelling, and test-driven development.
- Applicants need the ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
