Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned flight preparation and packing activities accurately and within defined timelines in accordance with Galley Loading Plans (GLP), approved SOPs, and operational requirements.
- Preparation and packing of airline equipment and food items in strict compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards and airline specific guidelines.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Support on-time performance by completing assigned tasks effectively and coordinating with team leaders and other stakeholders, as required.
- Promptly inform the team leaders of any operational delays, equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards observed during operations.
- Follow the departmental work procedures and comply with the Company’s Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2000 international standards and internal quality policies.
- Maintain compliance with all mandatory training, certifications, PPE requirements and fitness-for-duty standards.
- Perform packing and preparation activities involving manual handling, prolonged standing, and work in chilled or temperature-controlled environment, in line with operational requirements.
Education Qualification
- Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the food, hospitality or logistics industry, experience in airline catering is preferred.
Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a diverse, multinational team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Awareness of food safety, hygiene practices, and workplace safety standards.
