Senior Manager, Culinary Insights & Forecasting

to join our world-class culinary team, supporting our global clientele.

Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible to lead the function as a Centre of excellence for demand forecasting, business intelligence and performance analytics, delivering trusted insights that support strategic decision-making, optimize planning and resource allocation, and enhance operational performance.

The role drives forecasting maturity, data-led decision-making and cross-functional alignment to create sustainable business value across Culinary and the wider supply chain.

Key Result Areas

1.

Lead the function by defining its roadmap, service catalogue, governance approach and delivery standards to ensure alignment with the Company’s culinary, planning, procurement and strategic priorities.

2.

Lead the development and continuous improvement of demand forecasting methodologies to enhance forecast accuracy, responsiveness to demand changes, and planning effectiveness across culinary operations.

3.

Provide culinary and operational insights by analyzing menu consumption demand patterns, kitchen efficiency, food waste, supplier performance and cost drivers to improve operational performance and support cost optimization.

4.

Support leadership decision-making by preparing executive intelligence packs, dashboards and quarterly reviews that clearly explain trends, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.

5.

Drive the integration of demand forecasts into business planning by partnering with Planning, Procurement, Finance and Culinary teams to align budgets, purchasing and production plans with forecasted needs.

6.

Drive a data-led culture across Culinary and related functions by influencing strategic and operational decisions through actionable insights, ensuring recommendations are translated into measurable business improvements.

7.

Develop and govern self-service reporting, forecasting and analytical solutions that provide stakeholders with timely, accurate and trusted information while ensuring data integrity, consistency and compliance with reporting standards.

8.

Improve analytical capability and forecast maturity by introducing relevant best practices in culinary analytics, demand planning, menu engineering, waste analytics and performance intelligence.

9.

Lead and develop the team by coaching team members, building technical capability, setting clear objectives and ensuring continuity of expertise across the function.

Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience

*Education Qualification:*

a) Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Production Management or related quantitative field.

b) A master’s degree, MBA, or postgraduate qualification in Analytics, Operations, or Data Science would be preferred.

*Work Experience:*

a) Minimum 8 years’ experience in analytics, forecasting, demand planning, production planning, manufacturing analytics, supply chain analytics or business intelligence, preferably within aviation catering, food manufacturing, hospitality, FMCG or large-scale production environments.

b) The role requires at least 5 years’ senior leadership experience, with proven ability to lead analytical teams, develop forecasting and planning models, support production and procurement decisions, and translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership and

operational stakeholders.

c) Experience in S&OP, IBP, budgeting, production planning, procurement planning, dashboard development, forecast accuracy tracking, waste analytics, menu performance analysis and cost optimization would be highly valuable.

*Skill:*

a) Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills with expertise in forecasting, demand planning, and predictive modelling.

b) Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, dashboard development, and data visualization tools.

c) Strong knowledge of S&OP, production planning, procurement planning, cost optimization, and operational performance analytics.

d) Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex insights into business decisions.

e) Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills within fast-paced large-scale operational environments.
