Role Overview
The role is a subject matter expert position in the reconciliations domain.
The associate will prepare and review Bank of America balance sheet account reconciliations under the Account Reconciliation Policy and Standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review reconciliations according to procedures and standard policies.
- Meet assigned targets and process service-level agreements.
- Investigate breaks, follow up on open items, and obtain documentation for aged items.
- Ensure reconciliation quality and document account transaction flows.
- Identify process improvement, risk reduction, and non-compliance opportunities.
- Provide daily process reports and respond to audit queries.
Requirements
- B.Com or M.Com with MBA in Finance, or Qualified CA or CA Inter.
- 0-3 years of balance sheet reconciliation experience.
- Strong accounting knowledge and exposure to balance sheet reconciliation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Exposure to Six Sigma and other quality improvement tools is advantageous.
- Work timings are 02:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST, with weekends off.
