Role Overview
This role is a subject-matter expert position in the financial reconciliations domain.
The role supports Bank of America balance-sheet account reconciliations and adherence to Account Reconciliation Policy and Standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review balance-sheet reconciliations according to procedures and standards.
- Meet reconciliation service-level targets and investigate and report breaks to business partners.
- Follow up on open and aged items and obtain required documentation.
- Maintain reconciliation quality and identify process improvement, risk reduction, and non-compliance opportunities.
- Provide daily process reports and respond to audit queries about account activity and usage.
Education and Experience
- B.Com or M.Com with MBA in Finance, or CA, CA Inter, or CA Group 1 qualification.
- The required experience range is 0–3 years in balance-sheet reconciliation.
Foundational and Desired Skills
- Strong accounting fundamentals and balance-sheet reconciliation knowledge are required.
- Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities are required.
- MS Excel and Python coding are desired skills.
- Exposure to Six Sigma and other quality or emerging-technology improvement tools is advantageous.

- Bank of America maintains an in-office culture with role-specific flexibility based on business needs.
- The job is located in Hyderabad and is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST, with weekends off.
