The role focuses on process automation, reporting, process improvement, and analysis for trade compression and margin optimization.
The team collaborates with Technology to implement production changes and migrate Excel-based models to Python frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Automate manual trade compression and margin-optimization processes.
- Develop reporting, trend analysis, and ad hoc analysis to improve outcomes.
- Design, prototype, maintain, and implement technical solutions.
- Identify infrastructure issues and control gaps.
- Coordinate project status, issue tracking, and delivery with desks, Technology, and other partners.
Required qualifications
- B.Tech or B.E. degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college.
- Two to five years of experience in a technology role for a finance institution.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, SQL, Python, and VBA.
- Experience implementing code, writing test cases, and performing test cycles.
- Strong analytical skills.
Preferred qualifications
- A master's degree in finance, economics, or financial quantitative analysis.
- Coding or testing certifications.
- Experience handling large data sets and knowledge of coding standards.
- Knowledge of capital-markets trading products and financial risk management.
- Knowledge of interest-rate and foreign-exchange products.
- Good communication skills.
