- The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Present a professional and welcoming demeanor to arriving customers, efficiently allocate and seat guests, and ensure a full understanding of the sequence of service standards
- Manage customer complaints and feedback calmly and professionally, gather all relevant information, and communicate issues to management.
- Manage the booking system to optimize reservations, maximize covers, and ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all products, confidently describe them to customers, and take orders accurately by asking relevant questions.
- Handle function bookings, liaise with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams and clients to ensure seamless and well-planned events.
- Understand and comply with local licensing laws, promote responsible alcohol service, and make simple decisions to positively impact work and customer experience.
- Have a thorough understanding of the brand concept, history, and vision, and be able to explain these to customers when asked.
- Complete end-of-day paperwork, maintain personal and professional organization, manage time effectively, and conduct training for junior colleagues as needed.
- Work closely with the Rooms Division Assistant Guest Relations Manager and Concierge to ensure seamless guest experiences, identify guests requiring special attention, and cross-sell F&B outlets to enhance guest experiences and generate new business.
About You
- The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality or related industries
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- Microsoft Office Suite software competencies
- Leadership and Team-management skills
- Problem Solving
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficien cy in English
