Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Team Leader to oversee all post‑production activities for flat pack kitchen and wardrobe components.
The role involves supervising assembly verification, drilling accuracy checks, hardware fitting validation, labeling control, packing, and dispatch coordination.
The ideal candidate must have solid technical knowledge of modular cabinetry systems, drilling standards, and hardware brands such as Hafele, Hettich, Blum, Grass, and similar.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities after machine production, including component verification and quality checks.
- Inspect drilling accuracy, machining positions, hardware fitting, and assembly readiness.
- Verify cut lists, production drawings, labels, and component markings.
- Ensure correct segregation, labeling, and packing of all flat pack components.
- Identify mismatches, missing parts, machining errors, and quality defects.
- Supervise mock‑up assembly for kitchens and wardrobes to ensure alignment, leveling, and hardware functionality.
- Coordinate with production, QC, stores, and dispatch teams to ensure complete and error‑free dispatch.
- Lead and train assembly staff, hardware fitters, and packing teams; monitor productivity and workflow.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of modular kitchen/wardrobe systems and hardware installation standards.
- Hands‑on experience with drilling templates, assembly methods, and quality inspection.
- Ability to identify machining errors, hardware mismatches, and assembly issues.
- Experience working with major hardware brands and their drilling patterns.
- Leadership skills with experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
