About This Role
Overview
The F&B Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service, maintaining quality standards, and leading the team to deliver a strong customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the outlet (service, hygiene, staff coordination)
- Lead and supervise service staff, including waiters, helpers, and kitchen support
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest complaints professionally
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and shift planning
- Train new employees and guide team members to improve performance
- Coordinate with kitchen and management for smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and municipality regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control
- Support in achieving sales targets and controlling costs
Requirements
- Proven experience in food & beverage operations (2–4 years preferred)
- Prior supervisory or team-leading experience
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle pressure during busy hours
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
- Flexible with shifts, weekends, and holidays
