About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented VAT Consultant to join our growing tax practice in the UAE.
This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level professional to work across a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality VAT advisory and compliance services in one of the region's most dynamic business environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide VAT advisory services to clients across a range of industries, including structuring, transaction support, and contract reviews
- Manage VAT compliance obligations — preparation and review of VAT returns, reconsideration requests, and voluntary disclosures
- Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) on behalf of clients, including managing tax audits and responding to queries
- Support clients on VAT registration, deregistration, and group registration matters
- Identify VAT risks and opportunities and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teams
- Assist in the development of junior staff through coaching and on-the-job guidance
- Keep up to date with UAE VAT legislation, FTA public clarifications, and regulatory developments
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on UAE VAT experience, ideally within a professional services or tax advisory environment
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT law, Executive Regulations, and FTA guidance
- Experience managing client relationships independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
