**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Junior Consultant specializing in Audit, VAT and Excise Tax with Audit Background to join our team.
In this role, you will provide expert advice, guidance, and solutions to clients regarding VAT and Excise Tax regulations, compliance, and planning.
You will work closely with our clients to ensure they meet their tax obligations while optimizing their tax efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on VAT and Excise Tax regulations.
- Advise clients on compliance with VAT and Excise Tax requirements.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and filing VAT and Excise Tax returns.
- Conduct VAT and Excise Tax audits and reviews.
- Identify tax risks and opportunities to minimize liabilities and maximize tax efficiency.
- Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients for disputes, queries, and clarifications.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide proactive advice to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in VAT, Excise, Audit, Accounting, and Tax Compliance in UAE.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE tax regulations and standards, as well as VAT regulations and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team and to meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to work well with clients, and to provide sound advice on tax matters in an understandable manner
- Certified Public Accountant, or other relevant professional qualification is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: From AED1,000.00 per month
