Job Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, maintain, and replace tandem mill stands, guides, and related rolling mill equipment.
- Perform guide setting, alignment, and changeovers to ensure smooth rolling operations.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on mill stands and guide systems.
- Inspect rolling equipment for wear and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Tandem Mill Stand & Guide Fitter in a steel rolling mill.
- Strong knowledge of mill stand assembly, guide setting, alignment, and rolling mill maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and support continuous production.
- Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice are preferred.
