Job Description
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair BD (Bar & Rod) Mill Stands, Guides, and associated rolling mill equipment.
- Perform guide setting, stand alignment, roll changes, and equipment adjustments to ensure efficient rolling operations.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on BD mill stands and guide systems.
- Inspect mill components for wear and recommend replacements to minimize production downtime.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during mill changeovers and breakdowns.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a BD Mill Stand & Guide Fitter in a steel rolling mill.
- Strong hands-on experience with BD mill stands, guide setting, alignment, roll changing, and maintenance.
- Good troubleshooting skills with rolling mill mechanical equipment.
- Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice are preferred.
