Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site activities and the flexibility to work from home for certain tasks.

The Talent Management Manager will design and implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain professionals and volunteers aligned with the branch’s mission in aerospace, aviation, and space.

Responsibilities

include identifying talent needs, managing role profiles, coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, and maintaining an up-to-date talent pipeline.

The role will support performance and development planning, coordinate training and mentoring initiatives, and help design succession plans for key roles within the branch.

The Talent Management Manager will also work closely with branch leadership and external partners (including universities, industry, and professional bodies) to build engagement programs, organize career-focused events, and monitor metrics related to talent acquisition, retention, and development.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, HR, or people development, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Proven ability to design and implement development programs, including training, mentoring, and career-pathing initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across leadership, partners, and educational institutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse professional and volunteer communities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including event coordination and managing multiple priorities in a part-time setting.
  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms for collaboration, data tracking, and reporting on talent metrics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Interest in or exposure to the aerospace, aviation, or space sectors is highly desirable; previous experience in a membership or non-profit organization is a plus.
