Role Description

The Enterprise Excellence Manager will lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across the branch’s activities, with a focus on operational efficiency, member experience, and program quality.

This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site collaboration and remote work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing best practices in event planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, and internal workflows.

The role will work closely with branch leadership, volunteers, partners, and educational institutions to align projects with the Society’s strategic goals and to monitor the impact of improvements through clear metrics and reporting.

The Enterprise Excellence Manager will also support change management, facilitate workshops or training sessions, and ensure that lessons learned are captured, shared, and embedded into the branch’s operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in continuous improvement, enterprise excellence, or operational excellence, including process mapping, root-cause analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Background in project or program management, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple initiatives with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitation of workshops, presentations, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
  • Familiarity with change management approaches and the ability to support adoption of new processes and tools in a volunteer or membership-based setting.
  • Relevant academic background in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field; aerospace or aviation exposure is advantageous.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with self-directed work habits, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate respectfully in a diverse, international community and a genuine interest in aerospace, aviation, and space sectors.
