Role Description
As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial planning, commercial analysis, and business support activities for the branch’s operations and initiatives.
This part-time, on-site role is based in Dubai and involves close collaboration with leadership, program managers, and external partners to ensure sound financial decision-making.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance against targets, and providing variance analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
You will review commercial proposals and contracts, assess financial risks and opportunities, and support funding applications or partnership agreements.
The role also involves refining financial processes, ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies and regulations, and producing clear reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Commercial Finance, with the ability to link financial performance to strategic and operational objectives.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Business Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with experience interpreting financial data, building models, and presenting actionable insights.
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage.
- Experience in a commercial finance or management accounting role, preferably in an international, non-profit, aerospace, or technology-related environment.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools; familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Ability to work independently on-site in Dubai, manage part-time hours effectively, and operate with integrity and discretion.
