The IT Services team seeks a Systems Support Analyst to support IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, service management, databases, cloud and servers.
The role also leads delivery of an NEC housing IT system project in coordination with council teams, the implementation partner, supplier and housing service.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support and resolve networking and hardware issues.
- Administer IT service-management processes.
- Troubleshoot SQL and database problems.
- Oversee cloud and server environments, supporting stability and security.
- Collaborate on IT solutions and improvements, and document system performance and support activity.
- Lead implementation and delivery of the NEC housing IT system project with relevant project partners and service stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in IT support roles.
- Proficiency in networking and IT hardware support, and a strong understanding of IT service-management principles.
- Experience with SQL and database management; familiarity with cloud computing and server management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with a housing service, understanding the NEC housing IT system, and implementing the NEC housing system.
