The Systems Support Analyst G6 joins the IT Services team to support IT infrastructure and resolve technical issues.
The role includes leading implementation and delivery of the NEC housing IT business system project.
Responsibilities
- Resolve networking and hardware issues and provide comprehensive IT support.
- Manage IT service management processes.
- Troubleshoot SQL and database-related problems.
- Oversee cloud and server environments, supporting stability and security.
- Collaborate on IT solutions and improvements and document system performance and support activity.
- Lead the NEC housing IT system project and coordinate with council IT colleagues, the implementation partner, the supplier, and Housing Service.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in IT support roles.
- Proficiency in networking and IT hardware support.
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management principles.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and server management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with a Housing Service and a high-level understanding of NEC’s housing IT system.
- Significant experience implementing the NEC housing system.
