The Systems Engineering Intern role is based in Clifton, New Jersey.
The role follows a 9/80 schedule: 80 hours over nine workdays in each 14-day period, with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities
- Perform operational analysis and develop concepts of operations, design plans, and implementation plans.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases; conduct tests and document results.
- Use software tools and scripting, and troubleshoot software and hardware.
- Analyze requirements from end systems and users; support evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
- Present design activity plans and status to internal and external customers.
Required qualification
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred skills
- Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis and design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and/or model-based systems engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody is preferred.
Compensation
- The stated New Jersey salary range is $25.50–$32.50 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
