Join the System Engineering team upgrading a C4I system in the United Arab Emirates.
Drive system integration and verification in a multidisciplinary team and report to the Chief Systems Engineer.
Manage continuous integration of hardware and software components and verify subcontractor deliveries against system requirements.
Responsibilities
- Integrate software modules, hardware components, and external interfaces into a cohesive end-to-end system.
- Work with development teams to understand interfaces, data flows, and dependencies.
- Develop and document integration plans, system configuration baselines, and test plans and procedures.
- Execute functional, performance, regression, and acceptance testing, including verification and validation of subcontractor components.
- Maintain end-to-end test scenarios, document defects, analyze root causes, and coordinate remediation.
- Contribute to integration processes, tools, and test frameworks; automate and accelerate integration and verification where possible.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus at least 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus at least 4 years.
- Demonstrated understanding of system architecture principles and experience executing system tests and managing system configurations.
Preferred skills and experience
- C4I system architecture experience; proactive verification and defect resolution.
- Testing and profiling OpenAPI-based interfaces and familiarity with configuration management tools.
- Experience with Windows and Linux, or virtual machines such as KVM, VMware, and Nutanix.
- Computer networking experience, including routing, switching, and VLANs.
