The role supports enterprise infrastructure and services, including server, virtualization, storage, backup, and Azure environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer Windows Server and Linux; manage VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V.
- Configure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Deploy and maintain enterprise servers; provision systems and perform OS upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Manage NetApp, Dell EMC, or HPE storage and backup platforms such as Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas NetBackup.
- Support Azure and hybrid cloud environments; monitor infrastructure and resolve issues proactively.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management in accordance with ITIL processes.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
- Coordinate with network, security, database, and application teams; maintain infrastructure documentation and operating procedures.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Emirates NBD security standards and banking regulatory requirements.
