Systems Analyst role supporting banking technology projects, with a focus on gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
Location stated in the description: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role duration is 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Perform impact analysis for change requests, regulatory requirements, and system enhancements.
- Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Coordinate with business users, technology teams, vendors, and testing teams.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and business sign-off.
- Assist with data analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and operational improvements.
- Ensure requirements traceability and timely project delivery.
Required skills and experience
- 5–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking technology projects.
- Technical and functional expertise in FLEXCUBE and hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE modules and business processes.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Database and data analysis.
- Experience across Core Banking, payments, deposits, lending, or customer onboarding.
- Experience with WebLogic, REST/SOAP/API, Integration/ESB, and Kafka.
- Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred tech stack and tools
- Preferred tech stack: Oracle Database, Java, JavaScript, and Microservices.
- Tools listed: JIRA, GitHub, and Postman.
