Facilitate Agile delivery and drive delivery excellence for a squad working across integration, core banking, cloud, infrastructure, security, testing, and vendor teams.
The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a stated duration of 12 months.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog management, prioritization, and delivery planning.
- Remove impediments and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate across integration, core banking, cloud, infrastructure, security, testing, and vendor teams.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, milestones, and Agile metrics; promote Agile practices and continuous improvement.
- Support release planning, SIT, UAT, production deployment, and hypercare.
- Prepare delivery status updates for programme leadership and governance forums.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Required skills and experience
- 8+ years of experience in technology project delivery, Agile programs, or digital transformation.
- Minimum 4+ years as a Scrum Master leading Agile squads.
- Experience in banking, core banking transformation, integration, middleware, or digital platforms.
- Good understanding of core banking platforms, preferably Oracle FLEXCUBE.
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master is preferred.
Preferred skill and tools
- Kubernetes is preferred.
