Systems Administrator
About This Role
PC Doctor Laredo is seeking a talented Systems Administrator to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security of computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to protect organizational data.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and security practices to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with solid knowledge of server administration and network configurations.
- Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and relevant software applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Salary:
- Competitive hourly rate of QAR 70 -* 120* based on experience and qualifications.
