Role Overview
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting users across the organization. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure system reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure upgrades and projects.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Qatari IT regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to staff when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking, and virtualization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).
- Proficiency in system monitoring and security tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
