South College is seeking qualified applicants for the role of Full Time Faculty – Surgical Technology .

This position is responsible for delivering didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction to students, helping them develop the knowledge and skills required for success in the field.

Courses are offered during the day on campus and at affiliated clinical sites in the Marietta area.

• Provide didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction in Surgical Technology.
• Deliver high-quality teaching that supports student learning and skill development.
• Conduct courses on campus during the day and at designated clinical sites in the Marietta area.
• Guide and mentor students in both academic and clinical settings to ensure program success.

• A minimum of an earned bachelor’s degree.
• Be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.
• Possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

• Have a minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years.
• Strong communication and technology skills.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
