Role overview

Leads the end-to-end BYD and Denza parts supply chain across KSA, covering forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and operational efficiency.

Owns supply chain performance across the central distribution center and branches, with commercial impact on Aftersales profitability, parts availability, and customer experience.

Acts as the primary KSA supply chain interface with the OE principal; the description identifies this as a senior leadership role.

Strategy and inventory

  • Define supply chain strategy, forecasting, replenishment cycles, stocking norms, and obsolescence management.
  • Set inventory targets across the distribution center and branches; govern stock turn, fill rates, back orders, aging stock, and obsolescence provisions.
  • Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts, governance routines, and ERP discipline; standardize branch replenishment, VOR, and emergency orders.

OE, logistics, and reporting

  • Coordinate orders, allocations, supply commitments, escalations, and shortage resolution with BYD headquarters and other OE partners.
  • Negotiate supply terms, pricing reviews, and service levels with OE and third-party vendors.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, freight, last-mile distribution, warehouse productivity, and safety and quality standards.
  • Provide monthly performance reviews and dashboards covering inventory health, OE orders, and branch availability.

Stakeholder partnership

  • Work with Aftersales, Service, Sales, Finance, and IT to align supply decisions with commercial priorities.
  • Support branch openings, brand expansions, and product launch readiness from a parts perspective.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 13–20 years of automotive parts supply chain experience, including CDC, branch operations, and OE management.
  • Demonstrated success establishing or transforming parts operations across multi-branch dealer networks.
  • MBA or CPIM/CSCP supply chain certification is preferred; GCC or KSA market experience is strongly preferred.

Required skills

  • Commercial and analytical mindset, automotive parts economics, inventory planning, and demand forecasting.
  • OE/principal stakeholder management and operational excellence across distribution centers and branches.
  • Advanced ERP and BI tools, with SAP, Oracle, Kerridge, and Power BI listed.
  • Leadership, team development, negotiation, problem solving, and decision-making under pressure.
