The role focuses on product availability, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
Experience and background
- Requires 7–15 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
Supply chain expertise
- Key areas include procurement, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier management, and logistics operations.
- The role calls for demand planning, inventory control, and stock availability management.
- Experience with supply chain strategy, purchasing, supplier agreement negotiation, and international supplier coordination is sought.
- Leadership, analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills are expected.
Responsibilities
- Develop supply chain strategies and manage purchasing activities.
- Manage demand planning, inventory control, stock availability, and logistics operations.
- Manage suppliers, negotiate agreements, and coordinate with international suppliers to ensure timely product availability.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Warehouse teams.
- Manage teams, improve processes, and drive operational excellence and cost optimization.
