Full-time, non-management Loss Prevention Supervisor role at a St. Regis hotel in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
Security and loss prevention duties
- Patrol the hotel, secure rooms, and assist guests with room access.
- Conduct emergency drills, safety inspections, and physical hazard searches; investigate incidents and audit key control.
- Monitor CCTV and alarms; authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
- Respond to emergencies, contact emergency services, and provide first aid or CPR when appropriate.
- Gather information and write reports, preserving confidentiality and sharing records only with authorized people.
- De-escalate conflicts, resolve hazards, handle complaints and service interruptions, and escort unwanted persons from the property.
- Support training and coaching of employees and model company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is listed as a recommended qualification.
- At least 2 years of related work experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience are recommended qualifications.
- No license or certification is specified; required safety training and certifications must be completed.
Physical and workplace expectations
- The role is based at the hotel and involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking; moving quickly; and working on stairs, uneven or slippery surfaces, and in confined or elevated spaces.
- The role requires lifting or moving up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) without assistance and assisting with objects over 75 lb (34 kg).
