Housekeeping operations
- Inspect cleaned guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas to ensure quality standards.
- Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
- Assist housekeeping management with daily activities and coordinate Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk; prepare, distribute, and communicate room-assignment changes.
- Communicate unresolved matters to the next shift and complete required paperwork.
Team and guest support
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, discipline, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Follow safety, security, quality, confidentiality, and company-asset policies; report hazards, injuries, accidents, or maintenance problems.
- Complete required safety training and certifications, use work-related computers or point-of-sale systems, and perform other reasonable assigned duties.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- The role includes lifting and moving items, operating a loaded housekeeping cart, and standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods.
