Supervisor – Environmental Services
About This Role
Job Purpose
The Supervisor – Environmental Services is responsible for overseeing daily environmental cleaning, waste management, and hygiene operations across assigned facilities. The role ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while leading a team to deliver high-quality service performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Supervision
- Supervise daily environmental services activities including cleaning, waste collection, sanitation, and pest control coordination.
- Ensure all areas (indoor and outdoor) are maintained to required hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor work schedules, task assignments, and team performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality compliance.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and supervise cleaning and environmental staff.
- Allocate duties and ensure adequate manpower coverage for all shifts.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of team members.
- Provide on-the-job training and continuous improvement guidance.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
- Enforce proper use of PPE and safety procedures.
- Report incidents, hazards, and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Maintain adherence to company and regulatory environmental standards.
Quality Control
- Conduct routine audits and quality checks of cleaning services.
- Address complaints and service gaps promptly.
- Implement corrective actions to improve service delivery.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on operations, manpower, and performance.
- Coordinate with clients, facility management, and internal departments.
- Support management in resource planning and operational improvements.
