Supervise daily EIT installation work and guide field crews to meet approved drawings, quality requirements, and construction targets.
Industry: Oil and Gas / EPC Construction. Department: Construction / Project Execution.
Responsibilities
- Allocate daily work to electrical, instrumentation, and telecommunications crews within the assigned scope.
- Check approved drawings, materials, tools, access, and permits before activities start.
- Supervise cable trays, pulling, glanding, terminations, equipment installation, and instrument hook-ups as applicable.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices and isolation controls.
- Check installation workmanship and request inspections at required hold points.
- Coordinate with adjacent disciplines to avoid clashes and protect completed installations.
- Record quantities, manpower, progress, and constraints, and escalate technical issues.
- Support testing teams, punch clearance, and completion documentation without unauthorized energization.
Requirements
- Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience in EIT construction, including at least 2 years supervising field crews.
