Role purpose
Supervise teams operating equipment onshore and offshore, ensuring safe operations under company procedures and quality service to clients.
Key activities
- Allocate operational tasks and oversee safe completion in line with the operating manual.
- Ensure equipment is checked, compliant, and technically correct for each operation.
- Lead toolbox talks and planning meetings, with team participation when required.
- Support equipment preparation and return at onshore bases and prepare reports when required.
- Plan and execute site support to facilitate continuous operations.
- Liaise with client representatives and participate professionally in meetings and discussions.
- Complete company and client-required documentation.
- Complete competencies for the current and next role with colleagues and the supervisor.
- Mentor subordinates to support competency progression.
- Coordinate with the team and operations department to maintain communication and safe task completion.
Knowledge and qualifications
- Technical knowledge demonstrated through completion of competency for the grade.
- Formal technical qualification.
- Nine or more years of related technical experience is preferable.
- Team leader or supervisory experience.
