The FX & IRS Middle Office supports Marex Financial's OTC FX, IRS, and metals businesses.
This role provides operational support to the Structured FX & Rates desk across FX derivatives and interest-rate products.
The desk operates across London, Dubai, and Milan.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end desk support and accurate, timely post-trade lifecycle processing.
- Monitor risk, exposure, collateral, and cash movements; investigate and escalate issues.
- Maintain trade data and lifecycle integrity across front-to-back systems, including accurate positions, valuations, and trade statuses.
- Manage client margining and collateral controls, obligations, and exposure communications.
- Execute settlements and payments with Treasury and external counterparties.
- Work with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Technology, and external stakeholders; improve operational processes, controls, and system workflows.
- Maintain governance, documentation, audit readiness, and current written procedures.
Skills and experience
- Strong understanding of first-, second-, and third-generation FX derivatives and structured rates products.
- Proven middle-office or operations experience supporting OTC FX and interest-rate products, including front-to-back trade flows.
- Problem-solving, analytical, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- MS Office skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, customer focus, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Risk and conduct
Comply with FCA requirements, the operational risk framework, the FCA Code of Conduct, and internal policies.
Report policy breaches, escalate risk events immediately, and contribute to risk-management processes.
