Role Overview
Own governance, accuracy and continuous improvement of the firm's CMDB, configuration data and associated discovery tooling.
Act as the Configuration Management subject-matter expert across Technology and set standards and controls for reliable operational, service management, risk and audit information.
Own discovery and scanning tools including Lansweeper and Atlassian Assets Discovery.
Provide reporting on CMDB health, discovery coverage, risks, remediation and improvement opportunities.

Own discovery and scanning tools including Lansweeper and Atlassian Assets Discovery.
Provide reporting on CMDB health, discovery coverage, risks, remediation and improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Own the Configuration Management framework, standards, processes and procedures.
- Administer and improve the CMDB within the Atlassian ecosystem.
- Support integrations into Atlassian Assets and Data Manager, discovery tools, source systems, APIs and scheduled feeds.
- Map, transform and reconcile data with technical and application owners.
- Monitor discovery and integration health and coordinate remediation of data-quality issues.
- Maintain CI classes, attributes, lifecycle states, ownership and relationships.
- Resolve discrepancies between the CMDB, discovery platforms and authoritative source systems.
- Support service mapping and relationships across infrastructure, applications, services and business capabilities.
- Integrate Configuration Management with Change, Incident, Problem, Asset and Service Management.
- Produce CMDB health and data-quality reporting.
- Drive improvement through automation, scripting, API integrations and reduced manual maintenance.
- Maintain technical, process and integration documentation and support audit, risk and regulatory requirements.
Role requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical capability are required.
- The role requires a good level of technical understanding.
- Scripting, APIs and automation experience are highly desirable.
