The Structural BIM Engineer designs, coordinates, and supports execution of structural systems for themed environments, attractions, and entertainment facilities.
The role requires technical expertise, creativity, multidisciplinary collaboration, and BIM-based engineering workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Design and analyze primary or secondary steel structures.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and calculation reports.
- Review structural drawings and reports.
- Ensure designs comply with client standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate structural models with other disciplines using Navisworks.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering; a master's degree is preferred.
- 5–10 years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience in theme parks, entertainment venues, or complex architectural structures is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in XSteel, Navisworks, and ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, SAFE, or equivalent structural analysis software; Revit is optional.
- Experience with the Saudi Building Code and international standards including ACI, AISC, BS, or Eurocode.
