Cost Control Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project budget and cost breakdown structure.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and forecasts.
• Compare actual costs with budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Track subcontractor and supplier payment certificates, purchase orders, and contract costs.
• Link quantities and progress data to cost and conduct EVM analyses.
• Assess the cost impact of variations and change orders.
• Coordinate time and cost integration with the planning team.
• Provide reporting to senior management and the client.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Eight years of cost control or project controls experience on site-based projects.
• Experience in family entertainment centers, malls, theme parks, tourism or leisure facilities, or other large-scale building projects; international experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project; advanced MS Excel skills.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools are a plus.
• Strong command of EVM, cash flow, and forecasting.
• Solid understanding of FIDIC and contract management.
• Good English; Arabic and previous Saudi Arabia experience are advantages.
