Storekeeper – MEP Company

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment against delivery documents and purchase orders.
• Maintain proper storage and organization of materials in the warehouse/store.
• Issue materials to site teams and departments as per approved requests.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements regularly.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess materials to management.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and preservation of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material requirements and deliveries.
• Prepare material receiving reports, issue vouchers, and inventory reports.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store area.
• Monitor and control material wastage and damaged items.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in storekeeping or inventory management is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in MEP, construction, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of MEP materials, tools, and equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management procedures and documentation.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and inventory software.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
