Overview
- To manage the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of fast-moving consumer goods while ensuring accurate inventory control and timely availability of stock.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods against invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders
- Ensure proper storage of products according to company standards (including temperature control where required)
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or warehouse management systems
- Handle stock issuance and dispatch to sales, distribution, or retail channels
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving items
- Implement FIFO/FEFO (First In First Out / First Expiry First Out) stock rotation practices
- Conduct regular stock counts and cycle audits to maintain inventory accuracy
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or near-expiry goods
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations
- Prepare documentation such as GRNs, stock reports, and dispatch records
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the warehouse/store
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations
