Storekeeper – Home Décor & Furniture

Job Summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods across the showroom and warehouse. This role is critical in supporting sales operations by ensuring that all home décor products are properly stored, well-maintained, and readily available for display and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods (furniture, décor items, lighting, and accessories) against purchase orders and delivery documentation
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and systematic arrangement of items to prevent damage and enable easy identification
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the system and perform regular stock counts and cycle counts
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment
• Manage stock transfers between warehouse and showroom, ensuring proper documentation and tracking
• Prepare and issue items to the showroom floor based on sales and display requirements
• Handle fragile and high-value décor items with utmost care to prevent damage
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and optimal space utilization within storage areas and back stores
• Track and report damaged, defective, or returned items, and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution
• Support periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation activities
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in retail, furniture, or home décor industry
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• High attention to detail, especially in handling delicate and high-value items
• Physical capability to manage stock movement and lifting when required
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
