- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders to maintain product integrity.
- Organize and store products efficiently, ensuring optimal use of storage space while facilitating easy access for fast retrieval.
- Prepare and issue materials for production or sales operations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and avoid stockouts or excesses.
- Implement best practices for inventory management, utilizing technology and software tools to streamline processes.
- Train and supervise junior staff on inventory handling practices and safety protocols to foster a productive work environment.
- Conduct regular maintenance of storage facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety, minimizing hazards for all employees.
