Role summary

Store and inventory duties

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, tools, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes; verify quantity, quality, and condition.
• Store materials in designated, identified, and labeled locations; issue them to authorized personnel against approved requests.
• Maintain inventory records using manual registers or inventory systems; monitor stock levels and alert the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Conduct stock counts and reconcile physical inventory against system records.
• Prepare material issue vouchers, goods receipt notes, and other store documents.
• Handle and preserve materials to prevent damage or loss; report damaged, missing, expired, or excess stock.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe; follow company procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with purchasing, accounts, and operations on deliveries and stock requirements.

Qualifications and skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional storekeeping or inventory training is an advantage.
• Previous Storekeeper or inventory management experience is preferred; 1–3 years is typical, depending on company requirements.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills; ability to check quantities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and warehouse safety practices.

Working conditions

• Work may take place in a warehouse, store, workshop, or construction site.
• The role involves handling and organizing materials, tools, and equipment and performing regular stock checks.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,500–2,000 per month.
